The Emerald Tide

 

Restored 

80'8" x 15'9" Converted Subchaser

The Emerald Tide was built in 1943 by Wheeler Shipyards in Brooklyn, N.J., USA. For years this 24.6-meter (80 foot) wooden powerboat was used as a passenger vessel going on to over night scuba diving charters in the Gulf Islands. Now serving as a live aboard Yacht in the New Westminster area. Accommodation for anyone, with galley and berths below deck, lounge, dining and private cabins on deck captains quarters and wheelhouse above.

New Zincs and bottom paint, Carvel red cedar hull, Tapered steel mast, Hydraulic 24" aluminum body winch with 250lb Northill anchor.

State Rooms /Bunks

12 Bunks below deck, 2 private cabins with Attached  half baths on deck, vary private captains quarters with full washroom.

2 wash rooms and showers below deck 1 hand pump and w/macerator pump, 2 private half baths on deck,  full washroom above deck.

Furuno 701 48 mile radar and Goldstar radar, SiTex color video sounder, Hydraulic steering station, Comnav 1420 auto-pilot, Marinetex Loran, 2 VHFs - Uniden and Yaesu VXM 199, Spot lights, engine alarme, 12 volt braker box, generator remote, bilge switches.

    Water Room

Total 525 Gallons of water, 7 x 75 Gallon plastic water tanks. 175 Liter Hot Water Tank.

Swim grid with step down stairs into water, 2 benches, barbeque, 1 1/4" Fir decks.

    Engine Room

2 GM 8V:71 engines, fuel 6600 liters capacity, With Northern lights 4 cylinder 20KW 120 Vac genset, Twin disc MG 509 gear, 2:1 ratio, 3 Steel fuel tanks total of 6600 liters capacity, S.S. 3" Shaft, 35" 4 blade bronze prop, Engine alarm, Northern lights 4 cylinder Isuzu auxiliary engine Diesel driven 20KW 120 Vac genset, Electric Rule bilge pumps.

This Vessel is equipped with all working /operational safety equipment: bilge pumps, life jackets, two crash pumps, two fire hoses, fire extinguishers, EPIRB, smoke signals, life buoy lights, life rings, electronics, Spot lights.

Galley 

Refrigerator, Deep Freeze, Concept 115 VAC range and oven.
